ADDITIONAL SERVICES
SHIPPING CONTAINER RESPRAY (ON OR OFF SITE)
This is a service which is very popular with our retail customers. Before we paint our containers we grind any old flaky paint, dirt or rust of by using a special steel sanding pad which prevents damage to the new paint to give an excellent quality finish. All containers are painted with an air less spray gun to provide and excellent finish. We apply a prime coat and it is then finished with the final paint.
LOCK BOX
Lock boxes are welded onto storage containers to add extra security. We would always advise our customers to add a lock box to any storage container, which doesn't already come with one fitted. A lock box acts as a housing system for a padlock, you can only gain access from the bottom of the lock box unit to unlock the padlock. Any thieves trying to break into your storage container without a key will have a very hard time cutting the lock, as they cannot access the shank. If you already have a storage container on site and would like a lock box fitted that's no problem, just call our office and we will send someone out to complete the work on site.
GRAFO-THERM
Grafo-therm is an anti-condensation coating used to help against condensation and mould inside a storage container. Grafo-therm works by absorbing moister then later drying out, therefore protecting your possessions from damp and corrosion, and works faster the thicker its its coated. Some customers opt to have the whole inside of the storage container sprayed with grafo-therm, but just having the roof and top of the walls sprayed will work just as well and will save a lot of money. Grafo-therm is non-toxic and is the colour white or grey. For any information or to have grafo-therm added to your storage container just call our office.
DOORS
A storage containers double swinging doors are not for everyone, so we stock a range of different door types that can be modified to your storage container such as;
Personnel doors - For some customers personnel doors are more convenient to access their storage. We use Kirncroft security doors as they are strong effiecent and cost effective. The door skin is mades out of galvanised steel and is insulated with polyurethane foam injection, throught the inside of the door is a 4mm roundbar steel mesh. The door is extremely secure with a 10 point locking system and comes with a stainles steel lever handle.
Roll up doors - Provide a larger opening in the storage container for the loading and unloading of goods, and are great for when storing larger goods. Roll up doors are incredibly attractive on a storage container, they are strong and durable and need very little maintenance.
